WiFi & Bluetooth Wireless Signal Jammers

With the WiFi jammer, you can block out unwanted wireless networks from interfering with yours. So you don’t have to worry about being connected to someone else’s network. And It’s easy to set up and use, and it comes with everything you’ll need to start jamming right away.

Bluetooth is within the 2.4GHz band, so any WiFi jammer that covers 2.4GHz is also going to block Bluetooth.

What does a WiFi jammer do?

Wi-Fi is available in two frequencies, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. While 2.4 GHz is by far the most common, some newer routers do support 5 GHz. Wi-Fi jammers can create the same frequency and at high enough power to block wireless networks.

Why would someone use a Wi-Fi jammer?

Today, a wide variety of devices, such as cell phones, are using Wifi communications. A large amount of sensitive data is also stored digitally and can therefore be stolen (or borrowed) over wifi networks without being detected. The privacy of your data transmission and usage can be ensured by jamming the wifi signal in the area under certain circumstances.

On the other hand, not all communication is good. Examples might include a quiet car on a train, a security meeting to discuss confidential information, or a school trying to prevent classroom distractions.

There are many reasons why you may find yourself wanting to make noise with a wifi jammer, and they all boil down to one, establishing control over communications and ensuring that only certain types of communications are enabled.

Are WiFi jammers illegal?

Federal law prohibits operating, selling, or advertising any type of blocking device that interferes with licensed radio communications. According to the FCC, jammings are “radio frequency transmitters that are used to intentionally disrupt or degrade the performance of one or more radio receivers.” Jammers do not discriminate between desired and undesired transmissions; they simply block them.
